Working on airline tickets and places to stay right now. Today I received a video from Iris .. shows an overview of some of things that Iris does in Mozambique .. and other places.

In the video is a quick aerial view of kids walking to the Iris School ... and the Computer Center built in memory of my wife is right there.

There are short clips of other things Iris does like drilling wells so people have clean water. They are also starting a University and have begun some classes.

The video was great. So nice to see happiness in the childrens eyes. God has shined on them and you. Safe journey.

Thank for all you do Jim.

My wife and I watched the video. Good to see smiling happy kids, and it is because of what you are doing. Even with all the happiness, it was still a reminder to be thankful for what we have.
Your work gives those kids hope, and an opportunity to prosper. THANK YOU

I was surprised at all the buildings around the computer

center. I was thinking of the area being much like the many villages I have seen in Africa with one or two buildings in the village and the rest all shacks with dirt roads and the wilds of Africa a short distance away no matter which way you look.

It is located on the Iris Base

just above the house we lived in. The School the kids are walking to is a public school run by Iris and has over 4000 students attending. The Base is on the edge of the city of Pemba .... population probably over 300,000.

Where I worked was about 20 miles out of Pemba and is like you described.
