How do you keep a scope from moving forward on an 454?

It's an Encore with a 9" barrel, Leopold rings and base. It keeps moving forward until the front ring hits the adjustment turret.
Anybody ever use the rosin for unscrewing barrels to stop the movement?

always run the adjustment turrets up flush against the front

I have always kept them at least an eighth of an inch away minimum. I thought I read that somewhere many years ago. That 454 moved it for me anyways....now i just have to re-zero....again. Thank you.
