Mostly about velocity and recoil.

The cartridge pushes a 450 grin 12-1400 fps from a 14" G2 Barrel. Lighter bullets not much faster.

I'd expect +200 fps from the Carbine length. The light bullets really gain with barrel length. No surprise to handgunners.

Hope this answers the velocity/power questions. Recoil isn't as bad as you'd think.
