Reeder Custom Guns - Preparing for the Howdah

Ordered a few bullets from Montana Bullets Works to try in my soon to be .500 Linebaugh. They are almost too pretty to shoot. I’m figuring the first rounds will be Trail Boss to get a feel for it.

350 gr — 450 gr — 460 gr

you can't do just as well with the 350.

taken with the 350 grain bullet, the other with the 440 grain. All 3 were head shot, 2 were frontal and one a side shot.

I also have a 500 LG in a Ult Black Widow, I can find data for the 435g and JT has data for the other 440 g etc, but I can't find data for the 350 in a 500 LB case, should I start with the charge used in the 510 or is it not enough volume for the Linebaugh case. Any data for the 350 grain using H110 or 4227 would be useful.

Preparing for the Howdah

there is nothing you can do with the 450 and 460 that

of the 3 elephant taken with the 350 GNR, 2 were

load data for the 350g bullets

start with the data for the 510 GNR and work up
