Reeder Custom Guns - Reeder Holster

About 12-14 years ago, I had Reeder refurbish an old (1st year) Blackhawk .44 that was pretty beat up. At the time, I bought a crossdraw holster to fit it from Reeder (it is stamped with your name & address on the back.) The old Blackhawk is gone, with others taking its place, but I have always hung on to the holster. I am just curious who made this holster all those years ago, as it is perfect! Thanks for your time. and it may simply be I'd not know the guy nor ever be able to contact him even if I wanted. The story goes he's Amish and has no phones, etc. It's almost a mythological mystery. lol I can testify as to the finest quality of leather work and they are excellent bargains. To some they may "sound" pricey until you actually compare to anyone! I once "won" a "free" custom holster by a famous maker. The top of the line model was what I chose but 2-3 add on's like lining and weather treatment made my "free" holster into a $150 expense!

fellow in Indiana. Everything is done by hand and on a treadle sewing machine. No electricity. I don't list his info as he has no phone nor does he wish folks to contact him.

our holsters, ammo holders etc are all made by an Amish
