First off both are ballistic twins, 2050fps with 400gr. bullet from a 15-16" barrel. So, flip a coin and choose. The empty 416 Taylor holds 12ml of H2O, while the 416 GNR holds 18ml. With greater case capacity the 416 GNR is lower preasure. Both are deadaxx killers!!

I much prefer a rimmed cartridge to belted cases...

I have a .416,.440,.450, and .476 GNR in the Encore. Forget what length the 440 is 15 or 16". The rest are 15" with brake. The .416 is sort of a tuffy as the bullets are rather expensive. However I have some moulds where I roll my own to equal costs. I have 375 gr.,325, and a new one I got at HHC.

Wonder what weight it will be, 320-340 gr?

I enjoy the .50 AK and .348 Win. based Big Boys. Might as well get me a big container of Trail Boss.

I still want to have a .50 AK tube made so I can shoot all the .510" straight wall ctgs.
