but I still consider 1986 to have been the best single year of my life. Two years into the new city on the West Coast, top of the line job in my field, got the new office going so workload leveled off where I cut back on insane hours and play a little. Sophisticated new girlfriend, a cosmopolitan lady 9 years my senior, night clubs, hot cars... I didn't know what I had.
