Reeder Custom Guns - Gun powder Question

I just came across 6 cans of Blue Dot and 6 cans of IMR4227 for 130. 00 bucks. He has 800X, but I don’t have Gary’s reloading books up here in Nh to reference any of his Gary’s loads. Any of the Misfits Familiar with that powder

found it OK in 44 spl and good velocities in 10mm and 40 S&W but that was the extent of my trials. The speeds in the 44 spl were low while they were high in the 10mm and 40 S&W. It just didn't excite me at all. Plus it came in half pound cans which was often a pain to replace if you ran out.

shotguns, never tried it in any of my pistol loadings, there are too many other choices to use in pistols. Mr JT might know of some ?

it was accurate, and used modest amounts of powder to get me were I wanted to go with my .41s. It also gave good to great velocity. And no it does not meter as well as say ball powder, but for me it was not a real problem. I never had temperature problems with the loads as Blue Dot is stated to have.
