But I did load up 500 rounds of 308 Win -168 HPBT, Surplus WC748-43.0gr= 2400 fps out of my DPMS AR10 16" barrel and another 250 rounds of 308 Win - Rem 165gr PSPCL, Surplus WC748- 43.0gr = 2420 fps , hog load for night scope.

and it's certainly not faster to get done, just different. as to any performance edge so far it seems to be less smoky. I don't really see the bullets taking the rifling to much greater pressures/speeds. But that is what I'm still investigating for fun.

Custom and they were powder coated instead go having gas checks. Not sure about using them without leading the barrel at 356 GNR velocities.

I don't powder coat my bullets so I really don't know
