Reeder Custom Guns - one of our Ultimate 357s just finished

This one is number 002 and belongs to Gary Lindholm. It is a 2 toned gun with a heavy 6" barrel with the satin Black Chromex finish on the barrel and cylinder and satin Vapor Honed stainless on the rest. It comes with a fiber optic front sight and has been slicked up inside and out and is very accurate.

It was my first "big bore" sixgun. I learned over the years that with the proper bullet put into the right place it worked well for most game in the Lower 48.

I still have couple and probably will until I check out.

In that day the 357 Magnum was touted as "The World's Most Powerful Revolver." I suppose it was.

At any rate, I had to have one. I bought a Ruger Security Six for myself in August 1979 for my 15th birthday.

My Dad bought me the Marlin 1894 to go with it. I hunted hogs mostly with the combo and never had to finish one off with a second shot.

Never regretted starting with revolvers, but my bank account probably does.

opportunity abounds for experimentation and range reports. My previous place was too stuck in the mud regarding pistol shooting. I can only assume for liability purposes. I just respected it and moved on with no fuss.
