her fight with cancer.

There has been no update as there has been nothing positive to report until yesterday. Allison felt better and experimented with make up and went out on an errand. Patti left today for San Diego and there are numerous appointments next week to determine the next steps.
It has been a LONG and arduous 2 + months for Allison regarding having to manage her daily living with the drain that is inserted in her left fanny that is draining the abscess that occurred after her last surgery over 2 months ago... she is hoping to have the drain removed in, hopefully, 2 more weeks.. at the moment, the drain is still emitting an oz. of infection fluid per day... if they remove the drain, her surgeons may need to perform another small surgery to remove what is remaining of the abscess... Allie's spirits are STRONG and she is looking forward ... she may have her NEXT surgery in early January.. that will be to re-connect her ileostomy and do a re-sectioning of her liver to remove any cancer lesions on her liver... HOPEFULLY, no infections after that surgery and she can recover, get stronger, heal well and get prepared to re-enter a LIFE without the constant interruption of treatments and surgeries... as you all know, Allison has not been able to work this past year and she is more than anxious to be strong enough to actually work again in her field of interior design... she is hoping to be able to enter the "working world" by next April !!!
