I never had this happen before. The end of the ejector rod housing broke off.

It was a custom steel housing that had been on the gun since the 1980's and had suffered thousands of hard recoiling loads, so I am not complaining. I replaced it with an aluminum housing. And to be honest, I don't shoot the old gun anymore. Yesterday was the first time I have shot it in 10 years. It was probably just getting back at me for leaving it in the safe.
