Reeder Custom Guns - GT Bullets... Gary Delete if a problem posting this...

I'm continuing to try the GT Bullets in many of my revolvers. Thus far, they are the best bullets I've found for the more mild revolver cartridges.

This week I'll try some lightweight 44s. Have quite a few Reeder, Colt, Freedom Arms, Uberti and S&W 44s. These lighter bullets will mostly be loaded in my 44 Special and 44-40s.

Here are the two I will be trying...

Can't say these bullets are great for the Magnum loads. But, have been great in my Trail Guns in 250 GNR, 327 Fed, 38 Super, 40 S&W and 10mm.

Will break out my Octagon Reeder 44 Special for some of these.

The 190s were great at 950-1200 fps. Started leading at 1300 fps. Very minor, but expansion was to the point of fragments. Best kept at 950-1150 fps.

The 220s were great at 1200 fps. But, expansion started at well under 900 fps. No leading so far from this one.

The 220 grn over 2400 or 4227 is about perfect in my 44-40s. Shoots 1.25" in my Colt New Frontier and 1" or less in my Uberti Flattop Target. Both are 7.5" barrel guns.
