Reeder 50-70 makes a good day better...

The Reeder 50-70 G2 Carbine arrived today. Was everything I expected.

Blued the same as my 303 British that Gary built for me.

24" with the "Howdah" rear sight, so I made one small change. Since the Howdah base adapts a Ruger revolver sight to TC use, parts are easy. So, I pulled out the V-Notch Blade out and snapped in a peep sight blade. Much better for rifle use.

The barrel locks up very tight. Not like some of the loose fitting factory stuff.

I will post pictures later and a range report eventually.

This was a definite bucket list gun for me.
