Five rounds of ammo to test fire a gun and two are returned. But, shooting the gun this morning, I have to say recoil is quite mild.

Put the 24" barrel on a blue G2 action with a black Rynite Stock and Forearm. The weight is 86 oz or 5.4 lbs.

Shooting a 420 grain bullet at 1300+ fps was very comfortable. Accuracy was superb as expected.

Want the final ballistics to match a 500 Linebaugh revolver. Will truly be an ideal woods stopper.

Thumper!

That oughta do the job Huey. On a hog hunt with some friends I heard a shot off to my left. Out of the brush about 50 yards in front of me ran a huge hog with what looked like a bloody water hose flowing out each side. He did not go far. My friend had hit him with his 500 Linebaugh. A huge hole in and out!

I'm shooting the Hunters Supply FN 420 grn...

Over 4759 in the huge case. Very broad flat nose and expect it will be very deadly on game.

I'm at original ballistics of 1320 fps at about 18,000 psi. Don't feel more will ever be needed.

Have lots of 30,000 psi data for the old Contenders that was in Handloader Magazine years ago. Fun to know what this little gun will do, but doubt doing it would be fun.

I'm at a loss to explain lack of recoil. But, not asking questions. Fun gun and another Reeder home run...

You need to take some game with it.
