I was disappointed I couldn't make the HHC this year. I just couldn't take that weekend off of work. So my wife and I ventured out to the Wilderness Hunting Lodge on our own time.
My wife, Danielle, stalked up on a beautiful tricolored eurasian hog and took it with one shot from her 356 GNR at about 20 yards. It was a great shot, broke both shoulders and put the beast down. The 160gr lead bullet worked perfect and came right up to the skin on the opposite side without exiting. This was her first hunt and first time taking anything. She did amazing and loved it.
I took two smaller meat hogs. One with a semi-custom 41GNR and the other with 356GNR.

I love how Gary always ends his guns notes with take someone new hunting. Well years ago Marco took me and I am so thankful he did, I'm hooked for life and now my wife is getting into it. Thanks Marco and thanks Gary!
