Now before you say that is too fancy, I can't afford that, the daily rate at the new lodge is the same as the daily rate for a tent camp like this one.

One other thing. Before you get to thinking an African hunt is $35,000 to $40,000, that is not so, several of my guys have been to Africa with me and their hunt cost them around $7000 plus the airfare. That is taking 3 or 4 plains game animals and spending a full week in Africa. Not bad, huh?

been to Africa before they went in my group. And you can be in next year's pictures. We have 2 openings left on the April 2019 hunt and 8 or 9 on the 2020 hunt. Give me a call for more details. 928-527-4100. And before you think this, I don't make a penny on this. I do this because I enjoy it and it gives me a reason to go back to Africa. And going to Africa by myself would be a boring hunt.

Lyme disease. I have always wanted to go to Africa, but my MD has stated that my body can't take another pathogen. Any hepatitis, malaria, or other pathogen will likely kill me. Having said all this, I would really like to go and take my wife. Thoughts?

I have never seen anyone get sick from anything in our trips(other than me as I picked up a bug on the plane). But we won't be in an area that has malaria or any other disease like that. So my thoughts are if you have wanted to hunt Africa and your wife is a hunter, then go for it. With limited space non hunting wives are normally not the best way to go. But if she is a hunter then why not. Hell, you probably stand just as much of a chance in catching something bad here in the states as in Africa. We have 2 openings on next April's hunt if you are interested.
