If you want to pull rank since you are an ole-timer and I'm a n00b, I'm OK with that. I'm in the same situation . . . picked up a nice sporterized Arisaka (no mum, no "collector value") for a song 3 years ago and have yet to shoot it because ammo prices are ridiculous when/if available.
