seemed amazed that a handgun could be in a rifle caliber. The Remington rep should have enlightened him that the XP-100 came in 223, 35 Remington and 221 Fireball.

a problem hitting groundhogs way out there with it, so I eventually rechambered it to 223. That gave me an extra 80 yards or so which wasn't good enough so I re-barreled it to 224 Weatherby and made a custom stock for it. That gave me the distance. The only problem was optics. The best we had back then was the Bushnell Magnum Phantom in 2.5X power. I eventually switched to a 3X9 rifle scope and made sure not to get too close to the scope. When Burris came out with their handgun scopes I eventually put the 10X handgun scope on it.

Knowing that I would probably be spending a ton of $$ on a Cape Buffalo on the African hunt this last March, I sold it to someone on here. Now they can have fun with it.
