Call off Search and Rescue. I made it back!
Got into Austin last night and even though it's cold I enjoyed being back. I had an amazing time in Mozambique and in South Africa and will post some photos once I get life somewhat organized again. I woke up at 4AM .. WIDE AWAKE ... sigh ... that's what traveling halfway around the world in a couple days does to your internal clock.
The weather in Moz and SA was wonderful. It never got over 100 degrees and it cooled off nicely into the high 70's in the evening. I enjoyed it ... though the humidity in Pemba was a bit high at times, I don't think it ever got much over 80 percent. It felt good on this old man's bones.
Anyway .. it is good to be back and to see you all are still friends!
