They did not mention the draw weight

of the bow that this sight is mounted upon...... I shoot a 50 pound bow (all I can draw reliably now at 74) and I would never dream of taking a shot over 40 yards away on a deer. Maybe even not then if he is headed my way or only a really good broadside shot with no wind. At 500 yards your arrow will move 20 or more YARDS with a 4 to 5 mph cross wind. I tried once to see how far I could shoot. Set up was at 45 degrees with only a slight gust of wind. My arrow went about 180 yards and 15 to 20 yards to the left of my aim point. That was when I was still shooting a 60 pound bow. 500 yard for a bow means you are going to have to pull around 130 to 150 pound bow at a minimum. Burris would be better served to save its money and build more of the 1X4X20 or 30 mm handgun/375H&H Magnum type of scopes. JMHO

Looks like it weighs a ton. Don't need anymore bulk or

weight added to the bow. Someone else if making sites like this( I forgot who) and they are even more $$$$$$. I can't justify $800. I think their market research is about to be proven wrong about customer acceptance.

most bows. Mine is sighted in at up to 40 yards and is right on at 60 yards as well. None of the other bow sight manufacturers make a sight that will sight in at 100 yards. I think someone at Burris is pulling bow hunters leg!! LOL

nope. This was in the new products section in one of our
