The Reeder stocks are different too, really hand filling

It is much more difficult to describe than to actually feel it. Gary has been cutting 7.5" RH to 6" for a good while, the difference is amazing. Completely different from a 5.5 or 7.5".

I've shot a Reeder Gunfightered grip RH in .500 LB and a Bowen stock grip in .500 LB. I'd not really care to try the latter again, been there done that, once. Actually a 5-shot cylinder full. That was plenty.

The more rounded and hand filling Reeder grips look stock from the side profile but a few millimeters on each side, and a change in shape profile is really shocking in feel. Ditto for my old .475 LB with factory stocks, cut my hand several times, how can you shoot like that? Waiting for the gripframe humps to slice into the web of your hand, or the hammer ice-pick behind your thumb? A Gunfighter treatment made it completely tolerable. About everything is downhill from a 400 gr. .475 LB in a stock chassis size gun, it works.
