Posting Photos to This Forum

1. Click on POST A QUESTION and bring up the boxes .. put in your name and the title of the post.

2.In the message body I click so that the cursor is blinking, and then click "UPLOAD"

3. The Upload box pops up .... click BROWSE to find ON YOUR COMPUTER the photo you want to upload

4.When you find the photo, Click on it to select it and then click OPEN to hook up with the Forum. When you have done that Click UPLOAD, and the photo will upload to the Forum.

5. When the photo has uploaded the box will notify you. Then Click POST A QUESTION and it's finished.

is if the photo is way, way too big. Like Doug sends me all the time (lol). I open the file on my computer in the "Paint" program and "resize" it to only 33% of original 100% size, then save the file in that form. That will allow it to upload quickly. If you have a pic too big it will not upload at all sometimes, and it's certain to confuse a newbie.

ALSO... on an iPhone. If you have a photo you want to upload. You need to open the photo and edit it in some manner, no specific thing, spin it around, whatever then "save" it again. That will make the picture upright when posting it. I don't know why it posts some sideways but it just does. (For directly uploading from the phone) I sometimes "send" myself the photo to my email so I can save the file on my PC. Seems often I don't have a tethering cord to upload and just do that little trick to get the photo on my PC.

Don't be sacred of it mess with it and see what you can do. With computers you have to mess with it to learn. Then you'll be an old hand at it.
