Of course I have been guilty of doing naughty things with it too. Lots of those old Colts have tight chamber throats (like 0.395-0.400" etc.) and 0.403" bores. not very conducive to the best accuracy with some bullets. But it's easily fixed too. I have two .38-40's I run.

Didn't S&W make one N-frame in it once or was it a .44-40, I was thinking of? Some commemorative?
