sight replacement on a Ruger Vaquero a while back, actually several of them. This is the gun in progress.The front screw on the rear sight was replaced after the gun was finished. The one sticking up was just for holding it in place during the work on it. When our sight was hacked a couple of years ago I lost a lot of pictures including the finished picture of this gun and the Bearcat below it.

We also designed a new, windage adjustable, rear sight for fixed sight revolvers. Here it is being made on a stainless Bearcat. You can see the cut out where we fit the new sight in. It was smoothed out and finished after the work was completed.These pictures are of the gun still in progress and are still rough.

We did one on a S&W Model 58 fixed sight 41 Mag also. Normally we make the rear cut out just a tiny bit wider than the front sight, but the customer wanted a lot of open space on each side of the front sight. These pics are after the gun was refinished.
