I was hunting in Falfurrias .Tx . This buck came out at 4pm walking down a round we had put corn on. Shooting a 280 GNR
with 140 gr Accubonds at 2800 fps. He was an older deer , 4.5 or 5.5 years old, right at 160 lbs (weighed).
I also took a small pig with the 280 GNR, a group of about 20 hogs came to a feeder at sundown,that was on the 31st.

don't know if this counts . for the last 40 years or so at midnight on the 31st I've fired off a black powder revolver loaded with just powder . on the 1st I shot my 257 raptor contender which is fast becoming my favorite reeder round

Shooting expired can goods from my Aunt's pantry. Don't know why she had 18 cans of evaporated milk... but sure was fun. Cans really test your skill at 50 yards.

Me and my son at 12:01 New Years we fired our 50bmg blanks of coarse. We set off some car alarms.
