Nothing finer than quality wood on handguns or long guns. My late dad was a finish cabinet maker and always said it you are going to cut a tree down and create something make it beautiful. He once made a rifle stock for a guy out of AZ black walnut, I only wish I knew where it went so I could make an attempt at buying it. It was stunning on a Model 70 Featherweight.
