Covered all the bases. I used the 250 Savage Barrel on a Contender for 20+ years before moving it to a stronger G2 Frame.

Still have many of those early barrels. 250 Savage, 6.5x54, 7x57, 300 Savage and 358 Winchester to name a few. Today, the rimmed Wildcats are better suited. But, many of them were insipred by early experimenters.
