Reeder Custom Guns - Any single actions made with loading

Gates on the left side of the frame? It just seems to me that would be better for right hand shooters. It would make loading faster and easier and keep the revolver in the dominant hand. I guess southpaws would be asking if any DA's have cylinders that swing out on the right? I don't recall seeing any.

There was a company in the 80's that made one, but they are extremely hard to find now. There was a French service revolver that had a cylinder that swung to the right. It served well enough, and was otherwise rather conventional. I have never seen an explanation as to why it was made that way.

everyone just copied the way he did things after that. The fellow that developed the XP-100 for Remington was said to be a lefty also. When Savage came out with their version with the bolt on the left side some gun writer that was doing an article on it mentioned that the Remington XP was designed by a lefty. Whether that was true or not I have no idea.
