Grover's Flattop Target Model

Bill sent this to me when I was writing for Gun Week. I used it on several hunts ... had it for a bout 6 months. When I finished with it I called and asked how to ship it back to him. He told me to keep it! You could have knocked me over with a feather!

I shot this target with it at 25 yards using 325 gr. LBT's at about 1200 fps. The group measures 1" center to center.

I cleaned out most of my guns when I moved to Africa. This gun went to fellow Shootist Boge Quinn where it resides today.

I was visiting him when passing through TN on my way to Tulsa, or Dallas, or some such. I have to admit I was a mite jealous of him. :) It is a beautiful sixgun.

MADE ME EXTA CYLINDERS IN .44 SPECIAL AND .44-40. WE HUNTED TOGETHER AND I TALK A CRITTER WITH EACH CYLINDER. THEN HE MADE ME A .44 RUSSIAN CYLINDER. I WAS GOING TO SEND IT BACK FOR A .44 COLT CYLINDER BUT HE GOT SICK BEFORE IT HAPPENED.
