The TLA book project got put on hold due to family concerns, but it is not dead. I hope to get back on track with it in the coming year. The last several years have been a bit of a wild ride for my family, but we seem to be settling into a semblance of normal, now.

Also, the process of writing a book turned out to be way more work than I originally envisioned. I was warned by a few people that would happen, including a couple here. They spoke from experience. :)
