Is it better to form 7gnr from 30-30 or 7-30 waters?

when I developed the 7 GNR the 7X30 wasn't out yet. It was still 2 or 3 years away so I used 30-30 brass with no problems. The 7X30 ammo just makes it easier as you just shoot 7X30 in the 7 GNR chamber and you have it.
I prefer to just FL size .30-30 in the 7 GNR die.

The .30-30 does not need to blow the sidewalls out as much. I find once fired .30-30 form just fine. Several of my friends save them for me after deer season.
They look goofy with a double neck but form fine. The .256 Falcon too, it's the only way I can form them without neck splits. A factory .25-35 will blow the shoulder. It shoots fine but ruins the case at the neck. They become .300 GNR or something else after that.
