I'm not sure what he thought. I ask about the 40 S&W the same day.

But, in the months to follow, both became reality.

Logically, I would have one gun with both cylinders. But, they are both so well made, I just can't let them leave my collection.

Eventually, I will add a 10mm cylinder to the 40 S&W. But, not the other way.

No gunsmith could have built better guns...

But not being at the location to ship my gun, well it was put on hold. But I must say you and Water Boy always intrigue me . I don’t like to hang my laundry out there if you get what I mean. Thanks Again Pete.

felt better served personally with the little .40 S&W. Cheap plentiful brass and ammo. I can load it to full 10mm seating long too.

I have a .40 cylinder for my .401 GNR custom and it shoots really sweet. Sort of a .41 Special, minus 2.5% diameter. Doug has a 10mm Reeder on an OM with 4" barrel. He's used it as a finisher on several heads of big game to great effect.

The .400 bore is very under appreciated. It's what the .41 Mag. should have been. As is it's too close to the .44 Mag. IMO. My .401 Herters is a honey pot!
