I'm looking at doing one of my big game #1s with a peep sight. So far, I have found the Skinner and NECG Sights.
Does anybody have any experience with either? Recommendations?
Nope...all of mine use leupold scout scopes

Marlins. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the quality or functioning or value of the gun. A bunch of idiots started that crap when Marlin was bought out by the Freedom Group. Now every moron that owns a Marlin spouts that his gun has JM on it. JM was a proof mark that has been on Marlins for eons and the JM guns are no better than the current guns without the JM. The JM guns may be a bit smoother but that is because they have been used for years whereas the non-JM guns are new and still a bit stiff. But there is no difference in strength.
It goes far with lots of folks. Like the Rugers..
