Thank goodness for diversion, been really stressed
so it is with great anticipation I patiently await the arrival of the new "trail gun" to begin to experience what Huey has been so excited about. I find full .327's on that size gun less fun so the Shorty Forty loaded down should be really nice, subsonic for sure. I altered the contrast so you guys could really see how pretty it truly is.

I have rummaged through my moulds and found this special one that a good friend gave me, it should be most appropriate for the occasion. It's a little slow going but well worth it for a specialty projectile. I have been wanting to cast soft, paint coat, and test for really big expansion at a slower speed. I'm curious to see if that paint coating can help the alloy take the rifling with no stripping/leading. I was planning on slower loads, 700-800 fps, but the nominal .40 S&W is about 950-1000 fps for this weight. It also depends on the sighting in relation to that front sight (although it is swapable).

The other thing I've been using to relieve stress, and help me not throat punch some choice people, is this old vintage dirt bike I bought. For about the same price as a used Ruger SA, which would have been a much wiser investment. My plans are to restore it to compete in April down in TX. However this is how it sits right now. They don't have many parts on them and are easy to work on, otherwise I'd be lost. Since many Misfits have the same interests and/or pasts; guess what is it?! Remember I like things a little plain, simple, but weird, just like me. lol (Doug you can't play!)
