I used some orange paint remover, name escapes me. Lots of elbow grease and a green Brillo pad.

4-1 distilled water and white cleaning vinegar. Teaspoon or two dawn. Rinse with distilled water and baking soda. All in a sonic cleaner. Works great on brass also. Primer pockets and all clean. You can dry tumble in corn Cobb media withe glitz for a bright shine that lasts a long time.
That's flitz and hot rinse.
