This one is pretty much the perfect all around hunting revolver. It is chambered in 44 Magnum. Probably 80% of the animals taken with revolvers in this country every year are taken with the 44 Magnum. It has an 8ΒΌ" heavy barrel topped with the interchangeable blade front sight and the red fiber optic blade. It has the Magnum Gripframe with a really nice set of Mongolian Stag grips made and fit to it. It is finished in our satin Vapor Honed Black Chromex with contrasting satin stainless small parts. It has the great Belt Mountain base pin for a tighter lock up, and has the Positive Performance Package for the most accuracy potential. All in all it would be hard to beat this one for an all around big game revolver. The North American Hunter is normally $1695 on the customer's base gun, so with us furnishing the base gun plus the package price plus the Mongolian Stag grips it would normally run around $2700. It is sale priced at $1795 plus shipping.

we are not giving up anything to the 454 or other larger calibers. Plus it is much easier to shoot. You did that same grip for me on my 410 GNR and it is great to shoot.

Very Nice, what newer ammo are you referring to?

I agree on the .44 and 80% statement, the .44 is the caliber ALL others are judged by. Very versatile caliber, lots of different uses.
