SA .40 cal. experiment and test

At the bench plans change a little. I found some Longshot and made up some loads, both with manual listed 8.5 gr. at close to 1200 fps give or take. The 200 gr. HP are plated and seated to 10mm spec. in .40 S&W cases at 1.26" OAL. In effect 10mm loads. The 155 gr. XTP are standard .40 S&W spec. at an OAL of 1.125".

I wanted to see if the velocities are near the manual listing with both bullet weights, seated differently, with the same charge. I think both are listed at just under 30k pressure in the manual. Check bullet pull on that long seat 200 too. If it does not pull any in recoil we are good to go. I'd not fancy a load heaver than that anyway. More like 1000 fps is what I really want. This is just to test potential.
