When it comes to trail walking. Mine weighs 35 ounces, but has the standard gripframe and 6" barrel.
In my 10mm Trail Gun, I get 1200 fps with a 180 grn with 25,000 psi loads. I credit that to a longer barrel and the tolerances of the Reeder gun.
I get bashed for going lightweight and chronographing loads. But, weight really matters when you actually work in the woods on foot for hours at a time.
Velocity matters too. If for nothing else, learning points. If it didn't, we'd all be shooting 32 Rimfires, 38 Longs, 44 Russians, etc instead of 321, 356 and 429 GNRs.
Congratulations on adding one of the finest little guns I've ever seen.
