the good old days. SW FL is a fertile area for finding the guns of our youth, all mine are long gone, but I picked up this Browning Challenger off a consignment for $800. Made in Belgium, with a second 6.75" barrel to go with the 4.5" tube. Only one mag, but it's a tack driver with either barrel, trigger is the usual light-crisp-no-travel from the early Brownings. Wood/metal fit is flawless and can't find a scratch anywhere. The hand-checkered grips melt in my hand.

YEARS AGO. THE SHORTER BARREL WILL NOT SHOOT WELL AT ALL.

I like the flap holsters. They are easy to make and protect the gun well.
