another and totally change the gun then we are required to put what is called the Maker's Mark on it. That is usually on the butt of the gun. On guns where we just do an action job or maybe bluing or small stuff, we are not required to mark them in any way as it is considered repair work. If you have some good close up pictures of the gun I might be able to tell you if it was one of ours or not.
