Heavy barrel with laminated, vented, thumb hole stock. It’s too heavy to tote around. But it will shoot consistent 1/4” 5-shot groups when the wind is not blowing much. Hard to sell something like that!
The .22 WMR was to be a more portable truck gun with more whack than a regular .22. I had been keeping an eye out for a 70’s Marlin 783 bolt gun with tube mag. The detach mags are prone to get lost and feel Colby to me. Maybe this old dog with character has some hunt left in it. I much prefer 45 gr. Ammo but it will turn up sooner or later. If this don’t do it I’ll resume my search.
