Thanks Gary! I am so sorry you didn’t have enough room in the cooler to bring them home. But I was glad to step up and take them home for you. Marco if you see this you need to come by and grab a few packs before They all disappear. Lol

Beefalo is so good. In BBQ it is better than pork or beef

It is a bit tuff but I crock pot it til it falls apart. than smoke it for an hour on the grill. It is so easy. Note. If you put a bunch of your favorite flavor smoking wood chips in aluminum foil, and seal it up tight. You can put a few small holes in the top to let the smoke out. Set it on top of 5-8 charcoal briquettes, or on one gas burner, It works great. No soaking in water, and huge volume of smoke. One “smoke bomb” is enough to taste like it was smoked all day!
I have taken 11 big animals (over 1500 lbs) at the HHC since

'07 and they were all big old bulls that were like eating my shoe. But the Jack Russells loved it. In '17 Kase took a big Beefalo and I got one in '18 and they were good eating. The steaks needed marinating for a day or so but turned out good. Usually if some animal is causing Alan at Wilderness grief by chasing hunters or killing younger animals, he asks me to have a talk with it. But after Kase took that Beefalo (that was actually causing problems) the meat was very good and this last fall I asked Lynn at Wilderness to point out a good eating animal to me. He showed me a big cow Beefalo and the meat on her was really good.
Did you use your 41 GNR Contender?

Be putting in a lot of practice with my 41 GNR barrel I got during the Christmas sale. I put a 4x Nurris on it. I am assuming a shot 2" behind and 2" below the ear would do it?
yeah, you will have a 2" square to hit to do the job. If

you hit out of that 2" square you will probably stun him and have to hit him again to put him down for good. A good hit in that spot will do it one shot.
1/2 Nikon, 1/2 Burris?
