I have a blue 10” 7mm Remington Benchrest barrel in good condition, Lee Dies and 20 pieces of Lapua 6mm BR brass to form for it. I’ve shot it several times and it’s accurate but it’s time for another GNR barrel. $235 obo. ffemt_123@yaboo.com. I can send pictures as needed. GNR approved.

That's a good little caliber, great 10" performance.

I used to make brass from .308 BR, they had a small primer. I bought one of the first XP100's in 7mm BR. You could easily hit soda cans at 200 yds. A person who never shot a pistol before could do it at 100 yds. with some meager instruction!
we used to take the 7 BR XP-100s and run them out to

7-08 or even better 7-08 Improved. we had folks bringing in the 7 BR guns for rechambering. They were abundant at gun shows and useless unless a person was a bench rest shooter, so we did a lot of rechambering of them. Colleen used one in 7-08 on several hunts. I used one in 7-08 Improved on an antelope hunt in Montana several years ago. Super accurate at 250 to 300 yards which is the farthest I will take a shot with a handgun.
I think I was getting about 2250 fps with a 120

and it would stack the bullets in a hole. Didn't use much powder.
I am not much of a Chrono man as some put way too much

importance in speed, so I have no idea what our 7-08 Improved were doing, but they were very accurate. Part of that I can attribute to the twist of the 7 BR.
My standard 7-08 120's coast at 2500 fps!

The 7mm-08 Imp. looks to be a fantastic round! I'm sure it holds at least 10 more grs. of powder. Run a little slower burn and should it kick it up good even out of a shorter barrel.
