90% of the bullets we shoot here at the shop and we shoot close to 1000 rounds a month. Their bullets are the best I have tried. The coated bullets are, at least to me, a gimmick. Go to www.montanebulletworks.com.
Definitely agree with Gary

I have used Montana Bullet works for several different calibers. All were well made and great customer service.
Used the 240gr .410 in Africa 2017 with

the painted/coated bullets. That "shell" is heck for strong and the benefit for you would be no smoke shooting and no lead exposure. That is a biggie shooting cast bullets indoors. Of course it usually takes 80 yrs. or so for the lead to kill you. I gnawed on lead paint chips and window sills as a child, and look at me. lol
At the same price they have some uses. I'd not pay extra. They are fun to play with if you like to keep things interesting. I tried to mix colors, it don't work with powder coating. You end up with "pink" alright. But it is the effect of a Georges Seurat painting. It's called Pointillism, a red dot and white dot close together actually appears pink from afar. It's the darnedest thing, not pink at all but red and white dotted, but looks pink. Or whatever other colors you think you mixed.
I do things most can't or wouldn't. I have shot painted gas check bullets to 2500 fps with no lube and no leading. Basically a plastic jacket. For some queer reason red paint sticks better, FWIW.
ANOTHER VOTE FOR MONTANA AS WELL AS
