Some Reeder products or things I have played with. For the most part they are well received and it generates good conversation. I think that success is due some to my method of verbal presentation.
I find there are some folks who are intelligent, very well read, but have no practical experience. Presented with something different than what they have "read" it seems to threaten them in some manner. Their response tends to be negative, dismissive, or even aggressive (lol, you can be with words) to lash out if they feel they are in company of like mind.
Arguing with a moron on digital media is a lose/lose situation unless you are satisfied with your own whit in like behavior. Often this results in two morons being exposed. Just try to be factual, nice, and respective. Add some "lol" to lighten the effects of the written word. Many folks have been killed, wars started, over written words. Think about it.
But it can be a enlightening tool and source of entertainment and inspiration also. It is in large what YOU make of it. I have even used it many times as a platform for evangelism when the opportunity has graphically presented itself and the spirit moved.
Be safe out there, thick skinned. Sticks and stones,... but it's not entirely true. Don't be drawn down to a lower level, speak the gentile and kind truth. Dust off your feet and move on.
