Alex wanted it to look much like the Arizona Classic with the color cased frame and gripframe. He wanted the rest of the gun done in the deluxe Black Chromex. Any smears you might see are a light coating of oil. He wanted the Magnum gripframe with burlwood for the grips. He wanted the Positive Performance Package, cut and crown the barrel at 5½" and a .002 barrel/cylinder gap. He wanted the hammer and trigger jeweled and gold accented. He wanted the pins and screws fire blued. He wanted the Belt Mountain base pin. He wanted our interchangeable blade front sight with the gold bead plus an extra red fiber optic blade. Alex wanted a full custom and wanted it built to his specs and we did it. It turned out pretty nice.

orders right now and yours was in the latter part of May. Everything is running behind. Items we order that were 2 weeks at most a year or two ago are now running 3 months at best. I have probably $5000 in gun parts on back order and no idea when they will get here. I hired 2 more machinists recently and really need at least one more. All I can tell folks is to be patient. We are getting 4 or 5 guns out every week but it is just taking much longer than normal. I refuse to rush things and have our quality control go down the drain. So hang in there.

No problem, it's worth the wait. I can

Attend the local tech school at no charge. State law provides tuition free classes for folks over 65. I am on the list for Machinist classes in June.

there is always a call for a good machinist.
