Reeder Custom Guns - fire damaged guns

Just had a fellow bring in about a dozen guns that were in a fire. He wanted us to see if we could bring them back to life. Here are some of the guns..
S&W M-629...it had ammo in it which pretty much destroyed the frame when they went off. This one is toast.

A Colt stainless Gold Cup. The holster is now part of the gun..

a Springfield Armory 45, in a holster. The holster is now part of the gun..

A Ruger 22 MK 3 is somewhere in this box and will have to be cut out...

There is also a 1963 Colt Python that we are trying to get out of the box it was in.

There are also about 10 rifles and shotguns. I will try to get pics of them as we can.
And yes we are going to try to bring most of these back to life.

grips on it that have formed to the gun but they are still obviously Pachmayr grips so it should be fine. The other guns we won't know about until we get them apart. The 2 autos that are covered in melted holsters may be salvageable. We were able to take a rubber mallet and break the holster off the Colt Gold Cup and found it is a series 70 nickel gun so it will go down to Robar in Phoenix to see about getting the nickel off once we manage to get it fully apart. We got the Ruger MK 3 out of the plastic Ruger box. It will take some work but I think we can bring it back. He also had about a dozen rifles and shotguns and they are in worse shape,. I told him we would see about bringing the handguns back to life, then work on the long guns.

Bought a #1 in 458 Mag and spent a winter refinishing it. Turned out nice. My brother ended up with it and shot 2 bears.

from temps up to 1400 degrees for 45 minutes or something like that.

If I could move this 8' 6300#s double pocket doors I could have it. brain not brawn and a roll off.It is rated 2000 degrees for four hours than they take out the paper and they have to be able to reed it.My other safe is built in a closet lined with 5 sheets of 5/8 drywall. My friend lost everything this summer in WY. DON'T TRUST YOUR FIRE SAFE AGAINST FIRE YOU WILL LOSE!!

probably not on the handguns. The Python has rubber

they were in a Winchester safe, supposedly protected
