Reeder Custom Guns - Any one heard of this issue. A friend is worried b

Ar10’s - I got serious I’m looking into them a few months back and I kept finding articles about Cartridge case blowouts and how it would immediately destroy the whole receiver because it was aluminum.

Also apparently they are very fiddly as far as tuning the recoil buffer or something.

Is that still the case or have they worked out the kinks?

case. Those problems were way back in the late 60s. The guns are fine now. Also just about every company that makes and sells AR-15s is also making and selling AR-10s, so don't pay any attention to the internet "experts".
