I know Harley is betting the farm on some behemoth $30K electric MC that they hope to sell 750-1000 units per year. It will likely seriously wound the company financially, doomed to fail.

There are more enjoyable aspects to driving experiences than just getting there. Acceleration is fun too but you need to "feel" it which includes pleasing sounds and sensations that are linked to the experience. That's of course subjective but still part of the experience.

Firearms too. Part of the enjoyment is the craftsmanship, style, history, pleasing features, beyond the act of throwing a fancy rock to an aimed point. If you don't get it, you are missing a lot.
